Terms of use
Last updated November 2, 2026
These terms apply when you use livesong.tv or the livesong app. By using livesong you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].
What livesong is
livesong organizes live music performances published on YouTube: by artist, song, venue and date. The videos belong to the people and companies who uploaded them and play in YouTube's player under YouTube's terms. livesong doesn't host them. If you own a video and want it removed from livesong, write to us.
Details like venues and dates are gathered automatically and by listeners, and may be wrong; you can suggest corrections.
Your account
- Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if someone else uses your account.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time (Delete your account).
- You need to be at least 13 years old, and old enough under your local law to agree to these terms.
What you post
You keep ownership of your comments and suggestions. By posting them, you let livesong show, store and adapt them (for example, to fit a screen) as part of the service. Comments are public.
Don't post anything that:
- harasses, threatens or hates on anyone, or reveals someone's private information;
- is spam, advertising, or misleading (including fake corrections);
- is illegal, sexually explicit, or infringes someone else's rights.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Artists' teams can pin, heart and hide comments on their own performances. You can report comments to us.
Artists
If you claim an artist, you confirm you're that artist or authorized to act for them. We may check, and remove access if a claim turns out to be wrong.
Videos you upload
Artists' teams can upload recordings of their shows, and listeners can upload videos they filmed themselves at a show. Upload only what you made, or have the right to share. You keep ownership; by uploading, you let livesong store, encode and show the video on livesong and in its app, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
We look at every listener's video before it's shown. An artist can have a listener's video of their show taken down. We remove videos that break these terms, and close the accounts of people who repeatedly upload what isn't theirs to share.
Copyright
If you think a video or anything else on livesong infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: the work you own, the page on livesong, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you're the owner or authorized to act for them. We remove what's reported promptly and tell the uploader, who can send a counter-notice. For a YouTube video shown on livesong, you can also report it to YouTube.
Live shows and tickets
Some artists sell tickets to live shows on livesong. The show is the artist's; payments are handled by Stripe. A ticket is for you only, on one device at a time, and can't be resold. What happens if a show is cancelled or fails is described on its page; at minimum, a cancelled show is refunded.
Using livesong fairly
Don't try to break, overload or get around livesong's security, scrape it in bulk, inflate plays or likes, or use it to break the law.
No guarantees
livesong is provided as it is. Videos can disappear from YouTube, information can be wrong, and the service can be unavailable at times. As far as the law allows, livesong isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months (if anything). Nothing here limits rights you have that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Changes
We may change these terms; we'll update the date above, and tell account holders of important changes. Using livesong after a change means you accept the new terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
